Terms of Service

These Terms govern purchases from Afterstate (afterstate.store), operated by KKOSTOV LTD. By placing an order you agree to them. Consumer rights under UK and applicable EU law still apply and are not excluded where they cannot be waived.

1. Who you are buying from

2. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract and provide accurate checkout details. We may refuse or cancel orders that appear fraudulent, abusive, or inventory-constrained.

3. Products & pricing

Product images are illustrative; colour and fabric can vary slightly. Prices are shown in the currency of your market and include VAT where applicable unless stated otherwise. We may correct obvious pricing errors and cancel affected orders with a refund.

4. Orders & contract

Submitting an order is an offer to buy. Acceptance occurs when we send an order confirmation / dispatch notice. Until then we may decline the order and refund any payment taken.

5. Payment

Payment is taken via Shopify checkout and its payment providers. You authorise us (and them) to charge the selected method for the order total including shipping and taxes shown at checkout.

6. Shipping

We ship to the United Kingdom and Europe. The delivery charge is shown at checkout before you pay. We do not add a further import fee after payment for a UK or EU order. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier delivers (or, if you fail to take delivery, when the carrier first attempted delivery), except where mandatory law says otherwise.

7. Returns & refunds

You may cancel any order for any reason within 14 days of the day you receive the goods. This applies in the United Kingdom and in every European market we sell into, and it applies to every item, including pieces marked final sale. We refund the price of the goods and the standard delivery charge. If you chose a faster delivery option, we refund the standard delivery amount only. You pay the cost of returning a change-of-mind item; we pay reasonable return postage if the item is faulty, damaged, or wrong. Statutory rights for faulty goods last longer than 14 days and are not affected.

8. Chargebacks & misuse

Contact us first about order issues. Unfounded chargebacks, payment fraud, harassment of staff, scraping, or bulk automated purchasing may lead to order cancellation, account restriction, and recovery of costs where lawful.

9. Intellectual property

All site content, branding, photography, lookbooks, and product designs are protected. See our Copyright page. You may not copy, scrape, or commercially reuse our materials without written permission.

10. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are an EU consumer, you may also benefit from mandatory protections of your country of residence.
